"Coaching" can mean many things to many people. Here I'll use ICF's definition:
"Partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential. The process of coaching often unlocks previously untapped sources of imagination, productivity and leadership."
It's often helping clients to identify self-limiting beliefs and patterns, so they can reach their goals and overcome challenges.
"Holistic" is two-fold. It means starting with the premise that your client is whole and resourceful, exactly as they are. And that no part of their lives functions in isolation. Work affects home, affects finances, affects health, etc.
So, when you work with a holistic coach on a particular topic or goal, it's likely to draw in other topics.
